I am contacting you on behalf of my brother who was recently laid off from his job and resorted to doing temporarily placement work this week for minimal money to try make ends meet. He is under stress due to having his May rent coming up and Epcor utility, and Telus bills past due. What kind of help is available for him?

I was just checking to see if y'all help on assistance with rent and utilities. I have recently lost my job. The reason being is that I had a better job offer at another job but didn't make it there on time so I lost that position that they were offering me and the job that I had already had at the time replaced me when I left for the other one. This is the first month that I have struggled to pay my bills and take care of my children. I will be loosing my apartment in 2 days if I can't come up with my rent so I'm just asking for a little help until I'm able to get back on my feet. You can email me whether your able to assist me or not I just want to say THANK YOU for your patience and your time.

I am worried and in need of assists on health insurance and also housing assistance and heating bill assistance. Is there any ways I could look into info about them? Please let me know. I have a type 1 Diabetes and using flex pens. I might run out by one and more half months.

You may want to stay in that house until you have a job. Many ex's are living together these days to save money, gain stability, etc. As far as your question on assistance for heating bills and medical in Shelby County, there are options. But you have a long list of needs. Anyway, locate the Shelby County Indiana assistance programs.

My two boys and I need help with our electric and rent. I was on HUD through my apartments and the management would not renew my HUD lease due to retaliation since I just lost my job. I am in the process of getting help through legal aid and in search of employment.
Our apartment building burned down July 5, 2017 and the apartments tried to blame the fire on us and we're unable to due to evidence found by the fire Marshall of Wichita falls Texas. They refused to give us another apartment to live in so I contacted HUD compliance and they were made to house us. Since I have received several lease violations that my children and I did not do and then I was given a non-renewal of HUD that stated I didn't turn in the required documentation which is also untrue and when I confronted the apartment manager she would not listen or work with us.
I managed to pay the rent for July 15 thru July 31 in the amount of $368 but this kept me from paying my electric bill which is almost 400 passed due because the apartment won't fix my A/C unit. The first will be here soon and rent is $706. My boys are 8 and 12 and have been through so much sadness and loss and I just need help so I can get employment instead of spending my days trying to figure out how to get my electric back on and rent played in three days. My boys have ADHD and my 8 year old has severe asthma and 12 year old is going deaf in both ears. Please any help would be a blessing. Thank you.

Hi, I am not happy to have to ask for help with my bills but I am in need really bad with my power bill and in car repairs. If yawl can help with that because I have no help at all in and just laid off. I'm in this situation because my check was cut $200 and I had to move in the middle of the month and not only that I am trying to help my little sister go off to college.
