Rent and daycare expenses

Post by Hoffa »

I am a single mom of two boys. I only receive food stamps and medical assistance. Recently my daycare assistance was cut and I was forced to look elsewhere. I now pay for daycare along with my own rent so I no longer can afford my car and need to rely on public transportation. I recently went down to my local social services office and applied for temporary assistance but was denied. My rent will be increased in the next month or two and between that and my daycare I pay it is more than I actually bring home a month. They are going by my gross and multiplying it to make a budget. I either need help paying with rent or daycare. I have nothing else to give. My rent is only going to be 1250 a month which is the normal rate for an apt these days everything included. Not to mention my apartment is two blocks away from my job which is excellent consider I don’t have a vehicle. Please help me or please refer me somewhere that can. Thank you so much in advance.

Must urgent need at this time is rental assistance. Rent went up $200 which is rough but we are having a particularly hard time financially this month. I paid minimum to keep electricity on last night, gas has sent a disconnect notice, we have very little food, day care is killing us and I've been denied for multiple payday loans although I work fulltime. I have 4 children, two of which are autistic twins and have their 14th birthday on the 17th. I am desperate and do not know what to do.

Try a community action agency in Arizona for all those needs. They may have suggestions on rent programs, lists of local food pantries to try, and more. Also, if you did pay a minimum on your electricity bill, usually the company will work with people who do that and allow them to keep their power on. So call customer service and ask. As far as the phone numbers, read more assistance from Arizona community action agencies.

I reside in Dallas, TX. 75224. I recently just started my new employment at IHOP and I'm in desperate need of help on my rent as well as day care for my 3 year old. It's an all bills paid of $630.00 and I just could not get the money by the first. I started my job only a little over a week ago. I have children who stay with me on the weekends and visit often. I pray they don't learn about this. I just recently got this apartment and started stabilizing my life. I've never needed help before and I apologize for this inconvenience. I am a Christian man and I know that if I trust in the Lord he will get me through this. I don't have much family or too many friends. The one brother I do have is struggling almost as bad as me, and my closest friends just don't have the financial stability. I'm doing all I can to come up with as much as possible.
I have less than $100 to my name and my next pay check isn't until next Friday. I'm asking please, if possible check and let me know who can help me with this month's rent. By next month I know I'll be caught up and financially stable, but I may need still money to pay for daycare for my 3 year old who visits on occasion. I have no other choice than to reach out and ask for help. Like I said I've never had go ask for help like this so I don't know where to turn or who to contact. I hope to hear back from someone soon and I am deeply grateful for all your time and help. God Bless You.
