Searching for work

Post by Francine12 »

Currently Unemployed and have exhausted all unemployment benefits.Constantly searching for work but it has not been productive. I need to move out of the current residence. which I now live but due to my financial status I am unable to do so. It seems as though that most of the programs that are available I don't qualify for them, due to their qualifications. Are their any other agencies that I can contact that can help me? Your help would be greatly appreciate . A few back I did sign-up with (EXPERIENCE WORK) which is available in some counties, and Solano County being one, the program retrain older workers over the age of (55) but at this time the program funds are low or depleted so; they are not taking on new clients at this time, but do ask that you check back often. In which I have been doing so their status remains the same. I would appreciate any information you can give me. THANK,

Many people may not know it, but Goodwill Industries offers a number a job training programs, counselors who can help people find employment, and other assistance. People can go to their local branch for advice, access to computer labs, resume review, and other forms of aid too. So many try that agency. They operate in Solano County CA too. Find more on Goodwill job training programs. They can also retrain older workers too, so look into that.

I have worked temp jobs but they end quickly because of my baby bump. If someone is out there with heart please help. I will forever be indebted to you. Well we can't of course guarantee anyone a job, there are places you can turn to for assistance in finding one. There are career centers in Maryland that offer people access to training, computers to use in their search, and other support. Specialists are at the centers to advise people on what to do and where to look for employment. The services are offered for free as well. Here is the details on programs for job training in Maryland.

I am a 56 year old woman trying to keep a roof over my head. I am presently two months behind on my rent and the manager has stated that they will be sending a notice to vacate soon. My background is similar to a lot of women that has been self sufficient and married and after 30 years of more, their spouses leave them for other people.
I have been struggling for 2 years now to rebuild my life. It has not been easy, jobs are not as plentiful and the pay is very low. I went from a Fortune 500 company to washing dishes, I am not too proud, I have done all I can do and will continue to be self supportive. Now I am looking for work.
I am in need of some financial help at this time with back rent. School will starting soon and I am going back to do the bus monitor and school cafeteria worker. My need is very immediate. Whatever you can do for me would greatly appreciated.

Hi,
My husband had to have surgery and he has not been able to work since March. I am working several jobs trying to make ends meet but we can't pay all of our bills on my income. The problem I face is no one wants to help because I am employed and he is searching for work. My husband made 2 times the money I make and now we are trying to survive on a third of our income. I could use help with utilities and groceries for sure, and work finding programs. My phone is shut off right now because I could not pay my bills. Any help whatsoever will be greatly appreciated. THANKS.

Hello, I am seeking help very badly and I don't know where to go, but a friend told me to try your company! I am a single mother of 6 kids, I have no job but looking and searching for work! But we are homeless and are staying in a motel that I can't pay for the owner is trying to help as much as she can, but she still needs payment! So, we are homeless and jobless, and my kids need clothes, I need to pay for the motel somehow, I would like to give my kids a Christmas this year, my car is not working.
I'm just so overwhelmed and don't know what to do! Their dad refuses to pay child support, he left on December 24th of 2020 and I'm still not getting child support from him! I'm working with the state to see if they can help me get my child support but nothing yet! I just need a little bit of help to provide a home and a Christmas for my kids, they shouldn't have to suffer because of their dad! Can you PLEASE help me or quite me to someone who can, please I'm desperate as I am searching for work! I've got and been everywhere I know of! Please
