Cancer patient in Wilmington Delaware

Post by k8trx »

i am writing this for my friend who is a stage 4 cancer patient. he lives in Willmington Delaware. His phone was shut off and his electric is next. he has no money no food and is about to be evicted from his apartment. He is very weak and needs to have another procedure done . he had insurance from his job but when he asked for long term disability the said it was a pre existing condition. this is not true! however while we are trying to prove this he could die. Bill was given 6- month - 1 year to live. he is in his fourth month. somebody please help us. We pray in Jesus precious name.

Here are some programs to help with utility bills. Delmarva Power (Conectiv), has the Good Neighbor Fuel Fund. Conectiv will match customer contributions with a donation or grant, and the program is run by the Salvation Army

Chesapeake Utilities has the Sharing Program, which will assist sick, elderly, disabled or fixed income households with winter heating bills and utility bill costs. Customer donations and matching shareholder contributions are administered by Catholic Charities in Kent and New Castle counties and by the Salvation Army in Sussex county.

For rent help, try the Samaritan Outreach, Ministry of Caring , 1410 North Claymont Street, Wilmington, DE 19802 (302) 594-9476
