I'm emailing you because I am trying to find free medical help for my husband .He has no insurance, he is in constant pain. We live in Akron, Ohio. He has been going to Akron General hospital for a while now, and really, they aren't doing to much to help him.
He needs a diagnosis, and he need pain meds. The Dr he is seeing is a student and she wants to help him, the problem, is her attending. He tried to get HCAP and we don't know what the problem is. They say they (Akron General ) has no pain management at the hospital.
My husband needs help now, today, not weeks from now. Hospitals and doctors are suppose to help people, not give them a run around because they have no money or no insurance. My husband is in extremely bad pain and he needs a Dr to help him.
Do you know of anyone in Akron, OH area, Summit county, that can help even though we owe on the bills? We don't know where to turn anymore. Isn't there someone who can help him? Does a person have to suffer, just because they have no money and are poor? Please help us.
Don't doctors and medical professionals carry about people any more? Is it all money? This is suppose to be the greatest country, an they can't and wont take care of their poor. I don’t know what to do any more, where to turn. Isn't there someone who can help? Please help us, as he needs medical care.
There has to be somewhere he can go for medical care even though we are poor, and we need to find out what’s wrong and get treated. Please I beg you he needs help.

Hello, I have so many medical bills that are piling up and even one that is taking me to court for 3000 which I do not have the money to pay that off as I am poor. What kind of assistance can be offered? I have two kids and on a very low income or poor. Not sure what I can do. I'm stressed out and this is affecting my health as well.

You can always try free health insurance. There are programs such as Medicaid, state benefits, and more when a household income is low enough and/or families living in poverty. They can help fill short tern medical needs.
