Help paying electric and gas bills

$1200 from SSI? What is your budget breakdown? Can you use some of that money to slowly pay down the balance on your electric bills? if not, then try some of the low income utility bill assistance programs in Nevada, as there are several options out there for you. Each of them may be able to give you some of the money you need for your bills...or a portion of them. Also, the job market is booming so your wife should be able to get a new job.

Our gas and electric is due for disconnect on the 18th. We have been trying to come up with the money but everything we try doesn't work. I get $1202.40 social security per month and my wife was getting unemployment but the government hasn't voted to extend that.
