I don't want lose my kids, but I seriously need some help trying to pay light before CPS come out. I'm so scared

My name is Rossana. I need assistance paying my light bill. They are disconnecting me today. I'm trying to pay some but the person in Southern California Edison is asking for an amount that is not reasonable $1500. I was able to borrow $600 and he said that is not enough. I explain to him that I have a son with asthma that get CPS support. I need light for his breathing treatments which he is using more often in this winter weather and he answers me that I would have to relocate with my son with CPS. Please help me. I'm in California.
