LIHEAP is a program that can save you on heating and cooling bills. The government has greatly increased the grants and funds for this program as well. Here are a couple of good links on how to get aid.

When do you need to sign up and apply for LIHEAP (low income home energy assistance program) Someone said you need to sign up in the summer for the 2009 winter season. Is that correct? Do you need to apply that soon? How do i apply in New York. Thank you.

LHEAP is a federal and state government assistance program. Where can I get help from if my income is too high, which it is. I also do not like dealing with these government programs. Any other options, besides LHEAP assistance?
