At the end of the day, a titel loan is similar to a payday loan. We have information on payday lending laws by state, alternatives, and other debt assistance that can help you deal with that title loan. Read about payday loan alternatives, such as the Fifth Third Bank Early Access short term loan or the consolidation of payday and title loans.

I am 31 working full time. I have a Bachelor's degree in art education, but art jobs are few and far between. In the meantime, I am working as a waitress struggling to take care of my minimal needs. I made a mistake and took out a car title loan to help me with my bills. I have a three year old son so you can understand my concern. In the month of December as I was very sick with flu. I am scheduled for an appointment in January for follow up too. This will put me out of work for a day or two and add to my bills. There is no money saved up, I may lose my car from the title loan and I am worried about how I'm going to make it. Any help with rent, car, etc. would be more than appreciated.

You never want to put your car or automobile up as collateral. Car title loans are bad idea...maybe even worse than payday loans. We do have extensive information on them, why they are bad choices, and information for the couple instances (if that) when they may be good options. Find them here. http://www.needhelppayingbills.com/html ... loans.html
To deal with the car title loans, use a non-profit credit counseling agency for advice. Maybe they can help..or maybe not. It really depends on your overall financial condition.

I am in desperate need. I recently this last year lost my job house and my car to a title loan. I have always been on my feet and able to take care of me and my children but things have just fell apart for us. We need help desperately. I start a new job next two weeks but I have no vehicle (due to loan) and no where to stay with my three children we have been bouncing from friends and families houses and am running out of places to go. I am about to be homeless with my children please help!! Or tell me someone who can. Thank you.

I'm a very hard working single Mom, and just can't make ends meet no matter how hard I try. I fight and struggle, and work so hard, but it’s never enough. Now I don't have all of the rent for January, or the power bill, and money for food? Never enough. I had to get one of those title loans in November, and now paying that back is torture. I have no family that can help, and have idea what to do. My landlord will evict me if I am late or missing the rent.

If you have that little time before the title loan is due, you may be too late. But still, we would recommend tying a non-profit credit counseling agency, and there are several in South Carolina. They may also have some programs that can help you find a new job, so try these resources that we have listed. http://www.needhelppayingbills.com/html ... aroli.html

I have mental and physical health issues that have brought me to rock bottom. I am on disability, homeless, and about to lose everything I've ever had in an unpaid storage unit, and a title Loan Company is looking for my truck. I need mental health treatment and please help to pay these debts. I'm losing everything.

I moved back with family and found another job but. It's not enough to make my payments. I haven't been able to make my payments to the point that, they are about to take my car. My parents don't know that I got the loan. Please help.

Honestly, maybe try to refinance it. There are other loan companies in Dallas to try for help. Maybe a check advance store, or a place like Title Loan Plus, has resources for you. Try them, and ask for lower interest rates.
