DESPERATELY NEED HELP PAYING RENT IN DC!!! 3 MONTHS BEHIND

Hi. My name is McKenzie. I am 20 years old. I'm a college student and I live in DC.
The problem is my mom and I have this apartment and the rent is $800 a month and we have fallen 3 months behind. On the first of August, we will owe $2400. The reason we fell so far behind is that the electricity got disconnected cause the bill was almost $1600 and i used all my money to pay that bill. My mom doesn't have a job and my hours have been drastically cut back. We just dont have the money to really pay the rent up. Where can I go for rent assistance programs in dc? We have tried catholic charities, but the are out of money right now. Please help!!!!!!
