I am disabled and live in Fort Worth, Texas. I would like to star my own business, but do not have the money to get a business plan done. Are there grants out there to help me do this?

Grants are not easy to get. Same with loans with credit being tight. I think try calling your local non-profit agencies, like community action agencies in Fort Worth Texas. Use this link. The main one in Tarrant County is Community Action Partners, and has a phone number of (817)871-5032.

Hi, I'm an individual in need of financial at this point in my life in order to help me succeed. As you know many people are in difficult times but I know what I want in life, am sober and I want to be able to help others when I'm done with school and my career. Is there anything at all that I can do, places I can reach out to, anywhere I can learn to write a grant to ask for help or assistance? Any and all help would be appreciated.

Sometimes a local community action agency is involved in offering grant writing programs. There may be a staff member on site that can advise you. Or try your school as well, as the financial aid office on campus may have some suggestions. So those are a couple ideas for you.

Dear Sir/Maam,
I, Ishwar, am looking to get Grant for my Business, and my question is how do I get the grant? I have been running a trucking company since 2021. Currently I have 3 trucks and 20 trailers. Being a woman in this industry, I not only just own but run all the operations from driving, dispatching, accounting and mechanical work. I am proud to do business in an industry where it's dominated by mostly men. I started with 1 truck and $2000 in account and worked hard to build it to what it is today. Last year my business grossed 999000 out of which i paid my employees 237,923 and 84,000 in getting equipment for the business and employed 11 people.
This year I want to add more equipment and employees so that we can grow as a company while also benefiting the growth of other attached companies that we do business with including multiple owner operators. My question is where do I get a grant for that?
I currently operate from home, the funds will be used to get an office space to accommodate more people. As the trucking industry is suffering from shortage of drivers every year a Grant would boost the local industry in our area. With my current income source being insufficient for the growth model which includes employing more people, adding trucks and trailers to fulfill the already high demand in the routes that we follow and hence helping the community in general.
I thus request you to please help us find grant for appropriate amount to help us serve the people of America better.

Hello,
My name is Kim and I’m reaching out because I was referred to Community Action by a family member to see if they can answer my questions on grants and anyone can help. I’m inquiring about an application for a grant or to get in touch with someone to understand the process and see what my options are.
I’m a single mom of two boys. I’ve been unemployed since January. I have been living off my tax return, savings and had to pull out my 401K, which unfortunately, has run out. I have applied to countless jobs and a couple staffing agencies, remote work and local and have been unable to find a job.
We currently receive SNAP and Medicaid benefits but I am having trouble paying rent. I have been doing side jobs like cleaning, babysitting to generate small income for diapers and necessities and as much as I can put toward bills but it is not enough.
My schedule has been complicated due to our current situation, and my question about grants needs to factor in a busy schedule. I have been fighting a domestic violence and on-going stalking situation along with custody in court, my oldest son has many specialists and doctors appointments we have to travel for, and recently discovering my youngest is autistic and starting therapy and actively working on his development and trying to assist him in social skills and undoing fear to get him prepare to go to a sitter or daycare for me to be able to work.
Any help or information is greatly appreciated.
