The reason i fell behind is some old medical bills and they are garnishing my paycheck so i'm losing about 200 a week in garishment so it does leave very much left, My wife has been unable to find work for the last year and we are living on food bexes from a local place.
So please any help you can give would be great

I need to know your state, county, and/or city. Without having that info it is difficult. In the meantime, try your community action agency for rent help. Call the Salvation Army or catholic Charities. You need to make calls, and talk to different agencies and charities. Ask about rental programs.

Good morning,

This is a request to acquire assistance for the aforementioned. I am at my wits end looking for assistance to bring my rent at 116 East Fort Lee Rd. in Bogota, NJ current. At present, I am behind two months and as of the 15th of this month, I will be three months behind. My Superintendent has been so kind and supportive during my current financial crisis ( I have been out of work since March 2009) yet the property owners are not as understanding. I know that now that a new month has commenced, an eviction notice is forth coming. Please, please let me know if you can help me in my current situation. I am so depressed with dealing with a lack of food, money, receiving disconnect notice from PSEG, employment and resources that a dirt nap sounds wonderful.

Feel free to contact me at 2 any time to discuss the matter in greater detail. Thank you in advance for taking time out of your busy day to not only read this but to respond to it as well.

Regards,

Use this site to find phone numbers and information on Bergen County New Jersey assistance programs. The local United Way offers eviction prevention and rent assistance programs. The number is (201-291-4050). They also partner, and may fund, other rent and government programs. They can even have info on ways to get long term self-sufficiency, such as from debt counseling.

I just moved to Phoenix, AZ from Illinois with my 3 yr old daughter. I was getting cash assistance but it got cut off last month, I used the last of that money to move into the apartment that me and my child live in now. Unfortunately I have no other income and my rent is due! I'm looking for a job at the moment but its hard with no money for child care or bus fare. I am in need of help to get on my feet. I think one or two months of money for my rent would be enough, and I can pay it back to whatever program gives it to me.

Unfortunately many rental assistance programs in Phoenix will require people to have some type of income. The reason for this is that they do not want to be looked at as charity programs, and people must have the ability to become self-sufficient. Find the Phoenix rent assistance programs and resources. There are options like the Central Phoenix Family Services (call 602-534-1250) as well as the Community Housing Partnership of Phoenix (call 602-253-6905).

I have been out of work for about 3 months now and we’ve been living off of my wife’s SSI check which is just not paying the rent. We are keeping up with most of the other bills but there isn’t enough for the rent. When I get the income tax back we can get caught up on as much as we can. But right now we have an eviction notice which ran out on 6-15-2013. Our landlord is graciously giving us some extra time to get the 3 months that we are behind on paid. We are n a desperate situation. We really need help from someone.

Hello, I'm in desperate need of help with my rent, paying off a small debt as well as getting help for my 4 month old puppy who will eventually be needing food because prior to this happening, I had a good source of income (IRA). However after getting into my new place (apartment) and having to pay all necessary bills. I will eventually be running out of funds to pay pretty much all bills even though as of September 1st I will be employed part time as a nanny at $12 an hour, and my issue is that I'm in a real need of help with rent and anything else I can possibly get help with. Also, if I were to be evicted from my apartment because I don't have the funds for rent for the 1st of the month, I'm afraid that I would end up having to go back and live with my mother, who happens to be extremely abusive and can not and will not go back to that environment. Anyway, if someone could possibly get back with me on this it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks again and have a blessed day. Yours Truly

I currently live in Osage, Iowa with my wife and four small children. I am working through Accounting Pros as a temporary worker. A month ago I was strained with all the financial burden due to my wife getting sick.
We were unable to pay December rent and were served a three day eviction notice yesterday on the eleventh. We have no where to go and no money to afford anything. We do not receive any state help therefore the money being brought in is just enough to support my kids as for as food goes. We are desperate and need help fast! Please contact us ASAP.

I am currently in housing court with my landlord and have just received a marshals notice. I owe my landlord about 2,900.00 and I'm a single mother of 4 children I work but my hours have decreased due to the change of weather and with the holidays. I'm finding difficult to catch up if there's anyone that can help or point me in the right direction, I would be extremely appreciative.

I need my rent paid for the month of June. Do the fact that I'm getting out of a domestic violence relationship now we are starting over with a $710 SSI check. The only income I have my rent is $838.00. That’s not including the water, lights and other things though out the month to simply live. It's hard! Please help me an my three babies if you can. I don't want us to lose our place.

There are vouchers for the disabled that you can combine with your SSI for rent payments. The names go by Certain Developments Vouchers and others, and HUD operates the program nationwide. But your rent is also high for one person, so that needs to be addressed. But learn more on the vouchers for rent for the disabled.

I currently got out of the situation where my partner was extremely mentally, emotionally and verbally abusive to both me and my kids.
There were times I ended up in the hospital almost mentally anguished and confused thought I was going crazy.
He was removed from the home Friday and he left us high and dry. None of the bills were paid and our water was shut off for almost 3 weeks now and electric.
He left us with no money and took my ID and anything I could use for help.
Cut me off from the world and cost me my job. We are faced with an eviction notice and have until Sunday to find rent and are planning on relocating ASAP.
Please anything helps

Since you are fleeing an abusive situation, maybe the Central Illinois Community Action agency can help you. They do have some service for domestic violence, for both women and children. the process may be multiple steps, such as first housing then legal aid. This then may lead to some funds for rent if/when a new, safe home is located.
