Hi, I am in desperate need of a place to go to. I am 35, on disability, no spouse or children. I do have 2 therapy cats. I am diagnosed with schizoaffective disorder. I take medication and see a psychiatrist. But I need housing that takes people with schizophrenia. I don't really have anyone to help me because my loved ones don't really believe or care about my disease. I just left my extremely abusive boyfriend. I am desperate and scared. I am located in central Iowa, Jasper/ Polk county areas. I really appreciate it if you could help me please. I thank you for your time. Sincerely,

Schizophrenia is a medical condition that becomes increasingly stronger and diagnosed in young adults, but there is help. including for those age 35 like you. Try the rent programs for the disabled.

There may be supportive housing as well. Review the site for details.
