POD storage unit fees

Post by WSapp »

My home was burned on the ground in January 12; I have since been trying to get it fixed. I’m paying for it and living expenses some place else. I’m paying for a POD storage unit, that’s $200.00 a month and late fee because when the Inc was paying it was do on the 28th and I don't get money until the 1st and 3rd.
My house payment is $723.00 and I pay on the light bill where we are now. I just need a little help with something until the floor is fixed and then I can move the things in the POD back in the house. Thank You.

To Whom It May Concern:
I am in dire need of help paying my rent of $495 a month on MY POD storage fees. I live in San Marco area of town, 32207.
I am an almost 53 year old woman living alone. I do receive food stamps at this time. But have no income at all.
I have been out of work since February 2017 and have exhausted my unemployment and savings.
I have been and still am looking for work to no avail. I've also applied for SSI/Disability due to physical and mental disabilities.
I have called 2-1-1, the City of Jacksonville, and any other number I can get a hold of at this time for financial help for the POD storage. I have tried many times and I have not been lucky enough to obtain one of the appointments.
Please help me in any possible way. Thank you and God bless.
Respectfully and Most Sincerely,

If you are unemployed, and also have no savings, then a community action agency may be a great resource for you. POD storage help is rare, but maybe they will assist you if they have funding and if you go to budgeting and employment classes. Learn more and get information on community action agencies.

I am curious to see someone has told me that you guys would help me pay my POD storage unit so that I do not lose it. It is due up for an auction on December 29th and I have been I'm able to pay on it due to the fact of my hours being cut. I also have been homeless bouncing from couch to couch so I've been having to pay friends so that I can stay there which has been costly so I have to pay for my own food and also occasionally a way to work and everything.
I've not been able to pay on my storage unit but it is literally everything I have in there is everything I own. There is my kids keepsakes and everything and that's all I have left is everything in that storage unit and I really don't want them to sell it. So I didn't know if there's any way you guys would be able to help me get it paid at least part of it. And I'm also looking to see if you guys can help me get into housing somewhere as to where I have a stable place to live.
I do have an income. Right now it is not as much as I hoped but it is something it will pick up during the summer and possibly going to be start picking up here after the 30th but in the meantime I've been unable to pay all my bills and my storage unit because I still have past bills that I'm paying on and fines and stuff as well as food and to be able to stay places and along with the holidays. Being able to buy my kids Christmas as they don't currently live with me but I still buy for them. Please put as the subject or it's something like that that it is about the housing order paying my POD storage so that I can get it quickly or I can be text at that number.

Greetings!
My name is Tracye, and I am 57 years old, medically retired, and sleeping in my car. I was planning to buy a new construction home in January 2020. I put my belongings in a POD Storage, and another storage in Arlington, TX, and was waiting for the completion of the house being built, as I hotel hopped, when COVID hit. I had assumed this would be temporary, but when September rolled around, I knew I was in financial trouble. I had a car accident in October, and again in December 2020. My deductible is $1,000 and got my first payday loan to pay for the POD storage unit fees. I got the 2nd one 2 months later. My checking account is overdrawn, my driver’s license, and car registration is expired, and due to the “failure to appear” from the car accident in December, I need to pay $397 to renew it, which is another reason I can not get housing. I have income, but constantly needing to put out fires from the previous month. My POD Storage, which had the bulk of my stuff, was auctioned off in February 2020. Any help you can offer will be GREATLY appreciated. God Bless you, and thank you in advance for your assistance.
While I am wobbling, I’m still standing on the promises of God.

Hi Tracey,
Not sure if any program will pay the bills / rent on a POD storage unit. But call around and ask of course. Or use this resources to find where to get rental assistance near you.
