Facing homelessness and eviction in Kentucky

Post by Parseti »

I’m 21 years old and live in Glasgow KY. I just recently lost my job and I have a Chase advance and am two months behind on my rent. I haven’t gotten a eviction notice yet but I have called my local housing authority and they told me it would be seven months before they could help me. I am about to lose everything and I don’t know what to do. I need help getting help as soon as possible. Please I don’t know where else to go.

I live in Louisville KY. My zip code area is 40211. I need help on my rent before I am evicted. I have tried a neighborhood place close by and they told me that I couldn't get help on rent until April. I've been trying to call places to get help but I need help on finding a for sure place.
Everywhere I've called they either no longer helps with rent. Or can’t help because I’m not within their zip code area. Or any reasons. Please I really need help. I lost my job early last month. I no longer have a job right now but I’m still looking for a job and do not want to be homeless. Please contact me by email.

There are many homeless prevention programs in Kentucky. We have resources listed for all zip codes. Whether someone lives in Louisville or rural Kentucky. But their eviction funding is limited though...especially for those that no longer have a job. Read more Kentucky homeless prevention.
