Can landlord move my house onto section 8?

Hi, I'm a single mother of 4 children and recently lost my job so the only income I have coming in is my child support. I am now 2 months behind on my rent and received a 3 day pay or quit notice, disconnection notice for my water bill and my Edison. My landlord was willing to put the house under section 8 but they aren't excepting applications now so I can't get in the program. Please let me know if any programs that can help me.

We believe you need to have a job in order to qualify for section 8 in Oregon. As this is a HUD income based housing program. And if you are unemployed, you have zero dollars coming in the door which may not qualify you. The best thing to do is to ask an agency in your state, and find more details here.
