Brothers need a new apartment

I became disabled in 11/2013. I am and have been staying with my brother in "his" 1 bedroom apartment. It was intended to be a temporary arrangement, but it has been over 5 years now. I am not on the lease. We ran out of time and space for us two grown men. My brother does all of the meal preparations. I don't stand for long. I buy all of our food and household needs. My brother has applied for disabilities in the past but was never approved.
I have my own vehicle but my insurance payments would be too high for being in a high risk pool. I'm not sure how long it will be before the insurance regulates. Depending on friends and family to get around is just not the same. My brother suffers from asthma, and we have had our share of drama in the past. It would be nice for the two of us to remain close. We just simply need more space. I can't recall the last time I made it to the laundry mat. We have simply run out of living space. Please help me or point me in the right direction.
