Hotel or motel vouchers

Post by Ernest While »

I was hoping I could get some help paying my rent or a voucher for a week at the Hilton motel. I have two little children ages 4 and 5. If I don’t get any help by tomorrow I will have to leave. I have no family to stay with and all the shelters are full. I am also on the waiting list for all shelters in the area. I just need help until Thursday. That’s when I get paid. I have a part time job at Walmart in Chicago. I really need some kind of help before me, and my two children have to sleep in my car. This is a serious emergency! Please help!

I am a Glenn County California resident on SSI/SSP. I have a payee who is also my son, but we try to keep payment separate for that reason. I am now homeless and have received a voucher for two days at a local motel, and he and his minor child 12. Since then we have paid ourselves and it is approximately 1800 a month, at the best weekly rate. We lost our car, due to mechanical/age reasons, and I have been at a negative balance on my SSI payment account since last year while traveling a few times seeing specialist. I have a strange disease(s) (symptoms) and require controlled temperature as well as pay for to much to type/text. I really need a person, a nonprofit organization, or even religious who could possibly hear all twenty things needing addressed, my situation, and if I am stuck in this position for rest of life.

I am a single mother of three who has relocated to Florida in August. I've been paying to stay in Extended Stay and I can't afford to anymore. If my and my children don't find help by the 14th we will be out on the street because Orlando, FL only has limited resources. Please some one help me. I need help or a voucher ASAP. Thank you for your time.

There are rehousing programs in Orlando Florida. But to get a hotel voucher to pay for a room at an extended stay is very rare. More likely you will be placed into transitional housing in Orange County. You should not have relocated without having a job or place to live. But that is obviously done, so try rehousing programs in Orange County Florida for help.

Hello,
My family and I recently relocated to Alpharetta, GA and have been here for a month. We are in between jobs and are staying at an extended stay here in Alpharetta. Just a few days ago our bank roll ran out to pay for our room. Extended Stay told us to contact Catholic Charities to see if we could get some assistance, such as a voucher, until we are up and running.
We came to GA working with a budget but the hiring of jobs has slowed down for us and we now have no way to replenish our bankroll. We are without assistance for our room however the management has been very patient and even though I have called Catholic Charities nonstop (so we do not have to sleep in our car) and we have not received a call back. We were to receive a call within 48 hours and are now 5 days since I started calling for assistance.
A North Fulton Charity assisted us with a little bit of food and no gas vouchers or assistance with our stay here. We have been long time members of All Souls Catholic Church in Englewood, Colorado as well as St. Mary's Catholic Church in Littleton, Colorado. We do know that Catholic Charities is a very good organization and trust that someone could assist us during this time. We are seeking full time work and have been applying non stop for many hours each day. We also have applied for retail positions and can only hope we receive a response to our resumes right away. We call and leave messages also with no replies.
My husband and I are corporate people and I lost my job in Boise as well as our apartment in Denver before coming out. Denver has gotten very expensive and since our daughter is 15 and she had been to Atlanta, suggested we make a change. Boise economy has increased 13% (per the Boise Post) and we felt the move may give us an opportunity to also get into a nice home for less than an apartment in Boise (Jobs also)
So I do hope this email is received by someone quickly as I am not sure how much time we have left here. We are currently at the Extended Stay in Alpharetta, GA 30022. We are hard working people, educated and enjoy waking up five days a week and going to our jobs. We take great responsibility for everything in our lives along with our families not wanting to offer a hand at all in Denver! Our son is 35 years old and unemployed and does not make much at all in Denver, so he needs a voucher too.
Thank you for answering my email. It is late and may not read very well!

Well, maybe if you got approval in advance then a hotel voucher could have been given to you. But even then they are very rare. Like paying for an Extended Stay may not be approved. If the vouchers were not rare, everyone single struggling person would want a motel/hotel room over a shelter. Also, moving across country (with the expense that must have incurred) was probably not a good idea when you have no job lined up. You cold have job searched just as easily from Colorado. But if you must, try this resource for free hotel vouchers, and maybe someone can help. http://www.needhelppayingbills.com/html ... chers.html

My husband & I have children ages 3 and 20 months old & we have been evicted out of our home. We are to be out of the home @ 12:00 pm tomorrow afternoo. We have no where to go, nor a place to stay. I have been calling St. Vincent Dear Paul for a motel voucher.
I received one phone call back stating she was sending my info to someone and that
person would call me, I have not received a phone call back since yesterday (10/06/2016). So basically what my family and I are in need of is emergency housing of some sort.
My husband does work full time on salary & is guaranteed 80+ hours
semi-monthly. We need help. Please he does not get paid again until the 21st or until he asks his GM for a draw to get into a home. Please help any way you can.

Hello, I am going to be homeless. Currently out of a job and I'm praying maybe to get some help on free motel vouchers. Until I get off my feet. I am a single mother of a 4 1/2 year old.
I am looking really hard on finding a job. I have till the end of this week to find somewhere to go. I would really appreciate it if I can get help on a couple of months of motel vouchers as I don't have much of an income. Only 500 in welfare cash aid. So please help me. I need help.

Hello,
I was referred by the city of woodland to contact you regarding emergency assistance with a hotel voucher. We have been displaced out of our home due to environmental health issues within the unit. Can you please contact me? At this point and time I have nowhere for my family to go and the residence had been red tagged so we cannot enter until repairs are made. Thanks so much in advance.

Hello, I'm in serious need of a motel voucher. Currently looking for a new place to live in Salem Oregon, and places are to expensive and we struggling o finding a place. Need to be out of here by May 11th but sooner the better we because it would my husband (child's father) and myself, and our 2 boys and they are young children on just turned 5 years old on, April 23rd and then his brother will be 2 on July 21st and they have been with grandparents but they are old and getting tired and want some space. We just want our boys back and it shouldn't take much longer to get a new apartment for the 4 of us, so the hotel or motel vouchers will help us. Thanks for reading for I'm praying for the help.
