Due to a really bad child support arrangement which I have a hearing from on 31 Aug 2012, I have no money to pay my bills. I am two months or more behind on most bills and I have no way to pay my rent, as I am facing eviction. I do have a full time job make $12.68/per hour. However, I pay over $800 per month in child support. Due to this I am unable to pay my rent. I have enrolled in school in Austin Texas and am attempting to get student loans and grants to assist in this situation. Any assistance in this matter would be greatly appreciated.

My family is in desperate need of rent help for the month of June 2013. We live in Columbus, Ohio. As cost for everything has soared, the household income has not kept up the pace of inflation. Our household consists of three. My wife, my Grandson, and Myself. My wife is disabled, grandson is 7, and I am 45 unemployed with social security disability pending from Neuropathy, no vision in left eye, and a broken leg. Can you point us in a direction for rent help this month? The reality of being homeless soon is quite frightening.

I have a 3 year old daughter and my husband is having a difficult time getting a job at this moment but he may have something soon, our fingers are crossed and we're praying it happens. I am disabled and can not work, due to being attacked by a dog and then amputation of my leg, but still am yet to receive any benefits, so we are currently a few months behind on our rent. We love our home and our neighborhood and my daughters friends all live near by.
We literally have nowhere else to go and our landlord informed us yesterday that we have until the first of next week to be out unless we can pay him before then. I am at a lose and don't know what to do, I have tried everything with no luck so this is my last hope and I pray that you can help. I do not want to be put on the street with my child or with the condition I'm in, as I said this is my last hope and I pray you can help. I live in Nashville TN, I am rarely able to get internet access so if you could please give me a call instead, I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you so much and God Bless You.

We also hope your husband gets a job. If he does, it will make it easier for a charity to offer rent assistance to you. They often require a source of employment so the family can prove they can handle the future costs.
We have many different programs listed to try. But they may require you to move out of your neighborhood if your income just can't support the housing costs. But call around, and there is always hope. Find a listing of our resources, and read more rental assistance programs.

Currently in need have rent assistance. My husband and I both have jobs but are struggling to get caught up on our rent. My husband had a massive heart attack and was unable to work for several months. I am a bartender and was trying to carry everything but could not stay ahead. We are currently two months behind, which is 1400 in rent plus 50 dollars in late fees.

While Long Beach is part of LA county, there are some of their own housing programs there. Try these for assistance.

If not that, then try the county resources. As since you are both working that will help you in your quest for some funding to help catch you up on your back rent.
