Any rental assistance for women

I am a 22 year old girl and I recently just got a job but have not started yet. My father is disabled so the only source of income is my mother but all her money goes towards my father and his medical bills and such. Plus all the bills she has to pay on top of that. My dad is PSYCHO though. Literally, he is crazy. At one point my mom didn't want me to live with him because she was afraid he would hurt me so she tried to put him in a mental hospital but they wouldn't except him because he has to many medical problems as it is. Therefore, I still live with him. I don't want to live with him but I can't support myself on my own. I was wondering what types of rental assistance programs I might qualify for. Because the ones I've seen are mostly for single mothers and such so I'm not really sure how to go about this.

Check with your local YWCA there are rooms to rent from the Young Womens (YWCA). Salvation Army or look for possible roommate scenerios on Craigslist or local newspaper. Also found a website called roommates dot com.

I have gotten a wage garnishment as owe support to my female wife that has put me behind on my rent. I have a modification that hasn't taken effect yet because my employer hasn't received the judgment but in the meantime I'm falling behind on my rent and facing a three day notice that can and eventually will lead to eviction.

There are some agencies in Colorado Springs that my focus on women. Try the YWCA or the Salvation Army among others. Also look into a DV shelter or Oxford House type center. In addition to all those options, use this for more rent assistance programs in Colorado Springs.

I was evicted from my apartment a couple of years ago. Had a garnishment on my checks for some time, which got me behind in my rent and as a women it is hard in the job market. Was evicted. Since then I have stayed with family for a while, but for the last almost 2 years my 26 year old daughter, my 2 year old grandson, and myself have been living in a hotel room. No kitchen to cook. My daughter is married but has not lived with her husband since before she had the baby. I have taken care of her. She gets a small amount of AFDC and I work full time. Because of my income I do not qualify for most assistance programs that men get. With an eviction on my background and the $350 a week we pay for the room, makes it difficult to come up with the first month and deposit to move in to a new place that is targeted at women. Any assistance we can get from your program would be greatly appreciated.

If you have an eviction on your record, try an attorney to get rid of it. Then move out of the hotel into a friends, family, etc. to save some money for future rent or deposits costs in the Buncombe County. There are also women homes in the state and nation. Or locate other emergency rent help in Asheville.

To whom it may concern,
I hope this letter finds you in good health and high spirits. My name is Victoria and I am writing to seek your assistance regarding rental support focused on women for the next couple of months. I was given your information by my psychologist, who mentioned that your organization may be able to provide some much-needed help during this difficult time.
Let me share a little about my situation. I am a non-elderly disabled woman living with mental and physical disabilities since 2007. For the past eight years, I have been residing in my current home. Since last May I have been on a month-to-month basis. Unfortunately, due to unforeseen circumstances, I am now facing financial difficulties. Social Security claims that I have been overpaid, and I am in the process of filing for Chapter 7 bankruptcy to resolve this issue.
Living with me are my adult children, all of whom suffer from mental illnesses, and my oldest son has development delays due to ADHD. He has been on medication since the age of six. In addition, I have a 21-month-old granddaughter who brings immense joy to our lives.
Recently, I encountered problems with my previous women roommates abruptly leaving without informing me. This sudden change in circumstances put me in a precarious situation financially. However, I must emphasize that my landlord has been incredibly understanding and supportive throughout this challenging period. His assistance has been invaluable, especially considering the decline in my health. I now require insulin, and I am also dealing with kidney issues, lupus, and the need for eye surgery and total knee replacement. These physical ailments make it difficult for me to walk, and I depend on others for transportation.
As time is of the essence, I am desperate as a strong struggling women to secure rental assistance for this month or possibly the next two months. Losing my residence would be devastating, not only for myself but for the well-being and stability of my family. Moreover, an eviction notice would adversely affect my credit report, hindering my ongoing efforts to rebuild it.
As I women who is struggling with rent, I humbly request your understanding and support during this trying period. Your assistance would not only help us maintain our family unit but also ensure that we can continue providing a safe and nurturing environment for my granddaughter and children.
Thank you for taking the time to read my letter and consider my request. I remain hopeful that there is a solution that can provide the much-needed relief for my family. Please let me know if there are any further documents or information you require from me. Feel free to contact me at as I am eagerly awaiting your response and hope for a positive outcome.
With gratitude,

Hi victoria
While there are some rental assistance programs that may help single moms, there is nothing for "women" or just men. As in effect that would be discriminatory - illegal. But you can look for emergency help for the bills / rent here, including rental assistance applications today.
