I am going to be starting a class in March of this year and I am in need of a place to live and to start my new life. Once I am done with this class I will be able to get employment and start to take of my self on my own, but right now I am homeless and am in need of my own apartment so i have a place to stay and is stable so i can do this class. If there is any way i could get rental assistance for 4 months witch should give me enough time to get on my feet I would much appreciate it I am in desperate need of a place to live please get a hold of me if there is any kind of help out there thank you

Is the class at a college or something. As maybe you need to look into financial aid from the college, as that can usually help with housing costs too. Short term housing is usually offered by transitional housing type units vs cash, but you can explore a number of rental assistance programs that may be out there. Some are government, and some are state funded rent programs.

I currently am facing eviction in Lansing because of back rent, I am contacting you to ask for help I have tried calling different agencies and charities but to no availability there is no funding at the moment. If you could please guide me in the right direction or please let me know where might have assistance at the moment, I greatly appreciate any help you can give. I only need this one time help as I am currently working and have 2 little children. Please respond and let me know what I can do or what direction I can take. Thanks

Yes, I am in need of assistance in paying my landlord for rent due to having to move because I suffered a tragedy death in my home when I found my fiancé' dead in 2010 in Los Angeles. I moved because my 10 year and my 4 year old could not stay in the home because of the danger we were in. Please email me for more details. Thank you

We are a family in need of rental assistance in Omaha. My husband is currently unable to work due to temporary disability, which may turn into to permanent disability. I myself work a full time job, but don’t make enough to cover all the bills. I have two children one is 18, whom just graduated high school and a 20 year old who is out of school. Both children are looking for jobs and I am looking for a second job myself. I would appreciate hearing back from you.

If you need rent help and are facing eviction, can't your two kids work at some minimum wage job even to bring in a few dollars while they look for something better? So you would rather risk an eviction in Omaha than take that step. Most agencies will be hesitant to assist in these cases. But feel free to call around for help, and here are organizations for rent help in Omaha.
