What state or county? Until we have that info, hard for us to direct you to rental programs. Please provide that. Until then, use this link for rent assistance programs. Call the Salvation Army, your local community action agency, government offices, non-profits, and even your local church. Those are just a few options. But post county and we can offer more information.

I will be a college junior this upcoming fall semester and being that I have no job, I'm behind and struggling to pay my rent. I'm constantly applying for jobs in Omaha and my parents can't do a thing to help me. Next month I will be over 2 thousand dollars behind in rent; for I haven't been able to pay since April of this year. My utilities are included in my rent so if I take care of this I won't have to worry about paying any other bills.

OK, find information on how to get rent assistance, and which agencies and non-profits to call for aid. A number of organizations and programs are in place in Phoenix. Read those Phoenix rent programs here, and get phone numbers and details on who to call for help. Places like the Phoenix and Maricopa County Human Services Department Community Services Commission (phone 602-506-5911) are a great agency.

I fell on hardship and am unable to pay my rent this month on my Cambridge Massachusetts apartment. Among many other things that have put me into a financial bind this month here are a few of them. I had to take my daughter to a few of her specialist appointments in the city, so I had to change my working schedule to be able to work around the appointments. So the other hours I had worked I had to pay a babysitter to watch. Then I am having car trouble, I got what I can fixed but it is still not running like it should be. On top of the specialists and the car troubles my 5 yr old daughter started kindergarden this year so I had to supply her with her full list of school supplies. There are many other things but these are the major things that caused my financial burden. Thank you

Is it just one months of rent needed? Since in Cambridge MA do you really need that car, or can you rely on public transit? In either care, here is our listing of Cambridge Massachusetts rent assistance programs and agencies. Now like any program, funding is always limited, but call around and see what type of grant programs or aid you can dig up. There are places like the Salvation Army - Cambridge Corps which can be called at (617) 547-3400

We have numerous financial assistance programs listed for New Jersey, for all counties, states, towns, and cities. Including of course Sussex County. Find the full listing of New Jersey assistance programs here. Can always try option like the WorkFirst New Jersey(WFNJ) program too if need be.

To whom this may concern,

I’ve been trying to help find rental assistance for a few months now. I have a hardship with our rent. Our location is Phoenix, Arizona Maricopa county. It's like no matter who you call for rental/utilities help, you’re going to get redirected to/back human services in Phoenix. Only 1 time someone answered the phone on a Wednesday and said they have funds for utilities and made my friend an appointment, then told them that they might not receive any assistance help at the time of their appointment. For rental assistance you have to call on Mondays only @ 8:00am...so we did just that. Three people called the rental assistance line, and it took 25-30 minutes to get the recording that tells you what to bring to your appointment, but nobody never answers that phone then the recording will say all our appointments are filled call back next Monday. I called the following Monday and through the like at 8AM, it says the same thing and that you’re in the Q and your caller....it didn't give a number and I was on hold about 2 hours. It seems like the funds are going on something else instead of my rent hardship. Help...December and January rent ($2,500 month) hasn't been paid and if the landlord sells the property they have to get out.
