We do have a listing of foreclosure prevention agencies and specialists in the Brevard County and Palm Bay area. As a matter of fact, we have an entire page dedicated to foreclosure and mortgage programs in Florida. Most are free, and you can work one on one with a counselor. Read more on foreclosure assistance in Florida and how non-profits and government programs can help.

I would like to know if your organization can help me with my past due house payments. I am 3 months behind and the lender is going to foreclose. I have filed for disability and I am waiting to hear their decision. I am unable to work because of an on-the-job accident. USDA Rual Development told me to ask you for help. Please, please help me keep my home.

We have a number of foreclosure prevention and mortgage programs listed. If you had an accident, file for disability. That may help. The federal government also created Emergency loan program which is run by HUD and provides grants and zero interest loans for people with unexpected job loss or medical emergency, which sounds like you may qualify for. Try some of these programs and services for mortgage help.

To whom it may concern,
I am in desperate need of financial assistance to prevent foreclosure of my house.I recently lost my job after 10 yrs and was the sole provider for my family. My husband was diagnosed 5 yrs ago with systemic lupus after having numerous seizures and strokes. He has worked construction most of his adult life but, is no longer able to perform the duties expected and because of liability issues no construction company will risk hiring him.The last stroke he had has left him with short term memory problems. He
has applied for disability but has been denied twice and we are now awaiting a date for a hearing.Any advice or assistance would be greatly appreciated.
Sincerely,

As you go through our site you will see we almost always recommend starting with non-profit HUD or credit counselors. Only if they don't work out should you explore other options, like a private company or mediator. So, to get more info on that first option, click here for free HUD foreclosure counseling agencies and programs. Every state has offices and people that participate in this service, and thousands of homeowners across the nation receive foreclosure help and prevention every year.

Hello, I am seeking legal advice on behalf of my parents, who currently reside in Salem, Oregon. It is just my mom left and she is widow, and whose home has gone into foreclosure. I live in another state, so my physical help is kind of hard to attain. I found your link online and was wondering if you could lead us in the right direction? They received a notice that they have 45 days before the property gets sold. They have no idea what to do?? Hopefully you can lead us in the right direction.. Thank you for your time.

There are many things they can do. Did they explore any federal government or state of Oregon mortgage programs? Did they talk to a non-profit HUD counselor? There are many resources out there for homeowners these days, and each agency and non-profit works on their behalf to provide advice and stop foreclosures. There are many resources local to you as well. Get more details on Oregon mortgage assistance.
