We can direct you to programs or options that can help you with your mortgage, but we can't directly help. Wells Fargo offers customers several types of modifications and assistance programs. Learn about all of Wells Fargo mortgage assistance programs and options, such as forbearance, modifications, fee reductions, waivers, and much more. One of the more popular options are the Short Sale from Wells Fargo as many homeowners are just too far behind on payments.

Hello, I have a mortgage through Educators Credit Union here in Milwaukee Wisconsin. I have never been late on my mortgage however, I was laid off about 2 years ago. I did modify my loan back then. However now I am unable to pay my property taxes for the past two years and now my mortgage has gone from 516.00 a month to 1900.00 a month beginning in May. I do not have that kind of money and do not know what to do. Do you have any suggestions for me at this point. They don't seem to be of any assistance. Thanks scared out of my mind.

Hi,
I am currently unemployed. I got laid off almost 2 years ago then I had back problems. I had back surgery 3 months ago and I still need surgery on my foot. The doctors want me to wait 3 months for the foot surgery to give my back more time to heal. I applied for social security disability and got denied. I have a lawyer working on an appeal. I get $1000/month in child support. I just got a modification on my mortgage after not paying for a year. My payment is 1265/month. I did pay December. But I don't know where I am going to get the money for March. I am on trial payments if I don't make them I will lose the house. I need help until I can get social security. My husband no longer lives here and won't give me money (the house and kids is not his). I have a 12 year old son and a 15 year old daughter with mental health issues (the reason my husband left, he can't deal with her issues). She also got denied social security disability even though her issues are severe. The lawyer is also working on her case. I get food stamps and have applied for fuel assistance. My utilities are also overdue and facing shutoff. Where can I get help? I live in New Hampshire. Thank you,

Dear Sir:

I am in need of assistance regarding programs offered. My husband and I have always been the ones to take on family members in need of help, and usually are OK with the extra mouths to feed, utilities, etc.

This past year we inherited my nephew after an illness. At the time he was not working, but quickly got work and was on the right track. Last month he was in a major boating accident, and thru the grace of God, didn't loose his life, but he did loose his insurance, and his arm is broken in 3 places. He also lost positions with 5 different companies looking to hire him. So, no income from him.

We also inherited our daughter's baby who moved from out of state. She was supposed to have a job lined up before he come, but that fell through. She has only worked 7 days out of the year he has been here. We are in the procession of trying to get him out of our home. Again, no income from him.

I work for a local school district as a teacher, so I only work during the school year. Summers I am off, so no income from me for 3 months. My husband has worked his hinny off trying to keep this family from sinking, but we are not doing so great. There are many times that I have to pull a payday loan, ( I know that is bad) to keep food on the table.

Although we are not behind on our mortgages, we have been late on the 2nd many times by 1 week each month. I have tried and tried and tried to get a modification, but cannot seem to get them to help. I would like to have someone guide me to getting our mortgage modified, as right now we are upside down in it. Not looking for a hand out, just to get back on the track.

Thank you for any help that you can offer.
