HELOC home loan

Post by Maldanado »

I recently returned from 2 years in Iraq as a DOD Contractor and opened a small business using my savings and a HELOC on my home. The business was so slow and has failed and I had to close it because of loosing so much money. I am now left with owing $75,000 on the HELOC and need some assistance so that i don't end up loosing my home or having to file bankruptcy. I am presently back in Iraq trying to pay it down but with the troops moving out at the end of the year I will not have enough time to repay it and will be forced to return without a job.

First of all, thank you for your service to our country. We do not feel like military veterans should ever struggle paying their home loans. HELOCs are usually more difficult to get help with, as always not someones primary home loan. But you do have options available. Have you heard of the hardest hit fund? It is a federal government created, and state run, mortgage assistance and foreclosure prevention program. It is for people who lost jobs or had a reduction in income, which sounds like you meet that criteria. It can help someone pay their home loan for a period of time by providing a grant.

We need financial assistance for our home mortgage payment, which is a HELOC. We are coming up on our third month and we have a hardship because my husband’s health declined. He now is recovering and I started a new job. However, we have a disabled son who needs to be homeschooled and is due to graduate from high school in June. Please help with this HELOC loan need and our electric bill.

Is there anyone who can help me with financial assistance on a HELOC loan?   I am being threatened foreclosure by July 27th, 2020 if I don’t pay this amount.   I just need help with this to get back on track with my HELOC payments.   Thank you
Also, my Obama medical plan is the bronze one which doesn’t offer much coverage without paying a 6,000 to 7,000 deductible for other services I need for diabetes and high blood pressure.   My eye doctor recommended I see a specialist by its too expensive is there anything I can do???
