Not sure with your husband being an officer why $2500 put you so behind but I imagine you will soon catch up. Do you have Tricare coverage? Do you need credit counseling to ...

Apply at your local WIC office immediately, they do not provide diapers but can supply food for the baby and you as a pregnant mom.

3 incomes maybe be why you cannot get assistance, possibly over the threshold of income requirements. Between the three or four of you someone needs to take the time to find housing. If the dog is keeping your from obtaining housing maybe it is time you adopted him out.

Re: Who helps caregivers

While commendable you are helping your grandmother you shouldn't have had to give up your job or life to do so. Doing so now leaves you dependent on the family to try and take care of you. You should be able to get some type of assistance/payment for being a caregiver. Call your local Dept of Family...

Re: Hard Situation

After $500,000 in medical bills you only have to pay $500 and you want help? Make payments on it, that little won't take long to pay and that will be one less bill you have.

If she has insurance go to them first and find out how much, if any, they will cover. You can't really ask for assistance if you don't know how much assistance you need.

Re: Resources to get rid of loans for mental illness

I don't think loan companies check to see if you are capable of getting the loan because of mental illness, your credit report should have shown you were credit worthy, they don't pull a background check on you to loan you money. Bankruptcy should take care of it right? If you need help paying bills...

Have you tried downsizing everything to cut expenses? Pantries assist with food. Not sure if there is anywhere that helps with cars. Maybe sell one if you have more than one? Try for local resources.

Have you thought about her moving from the home so you won't have the expense of upkeep? Sounds like she isn't in the position to maintain and pay for where she is, it may just be too much for her. Maybe a over 55 or retirement complex.
