Re: No housing available for section 8

Section 8 housing is obviously very limited. The government helps pay for it, and if it was "Easy" to get everyone would want it. So there needs to be limits. But there are emergency section 8 vouchers. Maybe those can help you. You can try anyway, and find them here. https://www.needhelppayingbills...

Re: Seeking a job, not a get rich quick scheme

Try a government job training or workforce center. They are free to use. That is who you can contact. There will not be some "get rich quick" scheme there and they only offer professional, high quality, free services. Read more here at free job training in Massachusetts . I have two children under t...

Re: Obamacare does not cover my prescription drug needs

Maybe try a free community clinic in CO for medications , as some work with doctors, drug companies and others to help the low income as well as uninsured. However if you have an ACA/Obamacare plan, then they should cover most medications. Now there may be a deductible, but that is a different issue...

Re: Home destroyed by wildfire

That is horrible. As far as the mental health counseling you need, try a community clinic. The Florida Salvation Army may be able to get you into a motel or hotel, as well as give food, clothes, and similar goods. As they respond in disasters. https://www.needhelppayingbills.com/html/florida_emergen...

If you have a lease agreement, which is a legal contract, there is not much you can due. Is there a buyout clause? Or some other legal terms in the agreement. If needed, a free lawyer in Oklahoma may be able to review the lease with you to see if there is an "escape" or termination clause. Hello, my...

Re: Son in law needs help with electric bills

Good for you for keeping to pay, etc. But sounds like you are in that cycle...you can never get fully caught up with your electric bills in NM as always a month or two behind. Maybe a one time grant or payment relief would help, and find the options here at New Mexico utility bill assistance program...
