Re: Sick elder with all sorts of medical conditions

Hi, if you have a case worker, what did they say? They should be able to direct you to a program. But that is a long list of medical conditions you have, so be sure of the medical in your new place. Look here for other senior assistance programs too. https://www.needhelppayingbills.com/html/senior_a...

Re: Kids and me need food in Philadelphia

Hi Robert, Look like you have a big family there! There are distribution centers in Philadelphia - both the county and city. Charities have food pantries, etc. But quite frankly, you can't be "picky" when it comes to the type of food and taste of it. If you want to feed your kids, and you ...

Re: I want to sign up for a free car sweepstakes

Hi Katie While a car giveaway “sweepstakes” does not really exist (or at least we are not aware of any) there are programs that help people who need a car for work. But those, as you can imagine, are rare too due to the cost of vehicles, etc. But you can try, and we have details on many programs ran...

Re: Stuck in California and can someone help me get home

Hi Paige and Suzanna, Well, bus or train tickets are rare, but possible to get. The stat of CA has Calworks - try them if you are stuck. Sometimes the Salvation Army will also help transient people with a free bus pass/ticket too, and use them for resources. https://www.needhelppayingbills.com/html/...
