Free clothing closets, furniture and school supply programs in Wyoming.

The typical clothing closet in Wyoming will have hundreds of items, including clothes, free back school supplies or uniforms, diapers, furniture and more available for the public. However what is provided will vary based on what was donated. There may be clothes for work or the winter, uniforms, free back to school supplies for kids, personal hygiene items, furniture for a new home or apartment and so much more. Any assistance from one of the non-profit clothing centers is passed out on a case by case basis, depending on need.

Since the locations will focus on helping families gain self-sufficiency, the centers will tend to pass out clothes for work first. That may be professional attire such as suits, dresses, pants, and belts. Another focus on many of the Wyoming clothing banks is on children, and if their parents need low income guidelines, then there may be backpacks or other supplies. Some Wyoming centers also have free furniture banks to help low or struggling families get the goods they need for their home or apartment.

If someone does not qualify for the programs at a clothing closet, then the next option is a thrift store. Some of those are listed below as well. Some of these sites will offer vouchers to pay for items such as furniture, cribs, or other household supplies. So the resources are extensive.
