Charities local to the Worcester County provide free holiday and Christmas assistance to low income households as well as the working poor. Many of the agencies will also provide additional financial support around the holiday time frame, and that can include things such as financial help for bills or housing, but the focus is on spreading the holiday joy.
Most of the holiday assistance is focused on helping families with children as well as the elderly, but the charities will do their best to at least provide a meal or a companionship to anyone in need. On the other hand, children may be able to receive free toys or gifts, such as a game or maybe article of clothing.
