Wood County West Virginia rental assistance programs.

Find the leading agencies in Wood County that can help low income families pay their rent. The organizations, which are either charities or government run, provide everything from grants for paying rental costs to free legal aid, counseling, and rehousing services. A list of the financial resources are below.

The assistance programs are mostly in the Parkersburg area, but they support tenants as well as families in all of Wood County. Not only is there emergency assistance for families or single parents that are currently renting a home or apartment, but the homeless can also apply to these rental assistance programs. In addition, veterans, individuals with HIV/AIDs, the disabled, section 8 recipients, and others can also get help from these housing resources.
