Unfortunately most of the programs have limited funding and or waiting lists, especially Section 8 housing vouchers and the Homeless Prevention and Rapid Rehousing. The best approach is to call multiple agencies in Westchester County to ask for their rental and housing assistance programs.

A non-profit agency known as Westhab administers the program, and it provides partial government funded rent subsidies for working families facing an eviction and who are homeless.
