Many people struggle from time to time and food banks in Vanderburgh County can help fill the need during that time frame. The centers will try not to turn anyone away, however their resources are limited. The leading pantries and non-profits in the region are below.

Some of what may be provided by the pantries can include free boxes of food. They may contain canned goods, fruits, vegetables, perishable goods, and more. Staff can also usually direct clients to government and public assistance programs such as SNAP food stamps or WIC.
