Twin Falls County food pantries.

In an effort to help reduce hunger, over 10 food pantries in Twin Falls County provide assistance to both low income families and individuals that are in a crisis. The centers are free to use, try not to turn anyone away, and can provide groceries, fresh food, baby formula, and other supplies.

The food banks are located at a combination of charities as well as non-profit centers. Most of them are also part of the nationwide Feeding America organization, which helps them collect donated boxes of food and also money from the public. Then, based on donations, the Twin Falls pantries then collect applications from the needy and then provide the free groceries and perishable items to those that need it.

Not only may boxes of food be passed out, but the locations also may serve hot lunches or dinners to the homeless or hungry. There are also often Christmas and Thanksgiving meal service held, household supplies passed out, clothing, and more. Each food pantry has their own unique service as to what they offer their clients.
