Trenton New Jersey food pantries.

Food pantries serve the less fortunate across Mercer County. The distribution centers are mostly operated by charities, however some government agencies can also ensure that low income families receive some form of food. Clients include seniors, the disabled, and children from the greater Trenton area.

The centers can be turned to when a family is faced with a crisis. Each location is open limited hours and will try to not turn anyone away. So boxes of food passed out from a pantry may have non-perishable groceries, fruits, vegetables, or even items such as baby formula or diapers. Other pantries will also serve hot meals, including at Christmas and Thanksgiving.
