ECHO Outreach Ministries - The non-profit has an emergency resources program that assists with referrals to other programs and agencies, house wares, and ID assistance for clients that are homeless. Department of Children and Families (DCF) Emergency Financial Assistance for Housing Program (EFAHP) - This is a statewide housing and rental assistance program. Get help, including security deposit assistance as well as assistance with first month's rent. The state will issue cash grants for these expenses. Big Bend Homeless Coalition supports all of Leon County. A focus is on helping veterans with their rent to avoid an eviction.
