Low income families and people with no money can clothes, shoes to free back to school supplies, professional work attire, furniture including beds or refurbished computers and other stuff. Generally, very low income families can receive free items or maybe a voucher to shop with. Other residents of Summit County with a more moderate income can try a thrift store. Between these two options people can get kitchenware, donated gently used and new clothing, backpacks for students, household goods including linens, beds, or small appliances. There are also free mattresses, electronics, washers or dryers and other items as well as personal/grooming items for individuals and families in need. Almost all of the distribution centers are open limited hours. It is always recommended to either call in advance, or be prepared for a clothing center to not be open if someone just drops in at one. While the staff do try to keep them open as  many hours as possible, this is not always possible due to limited resources.
