Santa Clara County low income transitional housing and shelter.

Families facing eviction or the currently homeless can look into a number of housing resources in the greater San Jose and Santa Clara County region. Several non-profits, charities, and government programs provide short term shelter, transitional housing, and case management to impacted individuals. More information on your options are below.

For clients to access a transitional or low income housing unit, they also need to usually attend some form of job program or case management. This is generally required in that the non-profits work to break the cycle of homelessness and poverty, and providing just a place to stay will not do this.

Work with an agency to locate, and learn how to pay for, a low income private or public housing unit in Santa Clara. Qualified individuals, parents, and the low income do have resources available to them.
