Prescription Drug and Medical Program
They provides help to individuals and families who do not have prescription drug medication coverage. They will also assist with medical supplies and other health care needs.
Car Repair and Transportation Program
Families can even receive grants and own payment assistance to help them purchase a reliable, used automobile for work. Or, if you have an automobile that needs repairs, they will provide limited financial assistance to help repair the car.
Emergency Aid and Services
A wide variety of counseling, financial assistance, credit card help, budgeting, and more. More on credit card help. They also give free cash grants to help pay for utility bills and rent.
Housing Repairs
Home repair assistance for safe water supply , septic systems, and other improvements such as the construction of wheelchair ramps.
Register for the Low-Income Home-Energy Assistance Program
This utility bill assistance program will assist with the payment of cooling and heating costs. In addition, emergency energy bill assistance is available if your service is about to be disconnected.

The non profit agency COMMUNITY FOOD PARTNERS: A PROGRAM OF SECOND HARVEST FOOD BANK OF MIDDLE TENNESSEE (phone (615) 329-3491) provides groceries and food to charities and agencies that feed senior citizens, poor children, unemployed, struggling parents, the homeless, the disabled. THE SALVATION ARMY: EMERGENCY SHELTER & TRANSIENT ASSISTANCE (phone number (615) 895-7071) runs numerous assistance programs, and partners with other agencies. They provides qualified individuals with emergency shelter for families and men as well as bus tickets, occasional financial assistance for bills and rent, gasoline assistance, and emergency food to low income and transient persons; serves Rutherford County Tennessee.

This agency helps people of Murfreesboro and Rutherford County, and they provide help and aid to needy people who live in Rutherford County through the distribution of clothing, food, clothing, financial aid, household items, furniture, and Christmas gifts.
