Rockdale County food banks and pantries.

The Rockdale County food pantries partner with companies such as Publix and organizations including the United Way to support the working poor. The main form of assistance provided by these non-profits is of course a free box of food or groceries, but centers also offer clothing, household supplies, and some even have financial aid programs. Residents should call a pantry for hours and services before stopping by.

Most of the clients will be able to drop in, apply, and walk out with a box of groceries. If the cupboards at a local food bank are empty, referrals may be given to other options in Conyers Georgia. Or if the crisis is critical, the vouchers can always be passed out to buy emergency items such baby formula, fruits, or healthy items.

During Christmas, summer, and Thanksgiving special seasonal meal or food programs are run. Non-profit pantries and soup kitchens will work to feed seniors, children, and other struggling families in Rockdale County during those time-frames.
