Free Christmas assistance Pulaski County and Little Rock.

Free holiday programs are available in Pulaski County during the Christmas and Thanksgiving season. Churches or charities may provide free Christmas toys, Thanksgiving or holiday meals, and other help to the low income in the Little Rock area. The agencies that run these programs use donations of toys as well as food from the community. The charities that help struggling families, seniors or single mothers may hold fund raisers or toys drives, such as the Red Kettle concept, to raise money to buy gifts or other items for the less fortunate. Free holiday programs are available to provide toys to children and food baskets to the entire low income household. Senior citizens in the city of Little Rock can also apply for home delivered meals as well. More volunteers are always needed to run these holiday services, so please give back if possible.

Each year, hundreds of local families (most of whom have children) get a free gift for their children. There can be toys, clothing, items, sneakers, Legos, video games, dolls, shoes, groceries and even video games. The Salvation Army
The Angel Tree program is run from multiple sites. It will offer income qualified families in Pulaski County with free meals and toys, among other services. The charity also offer financial aid, gift cards, vouchers, and of course referrals. A retail store is also open, and the agency has Thanksgiving meals too.

For those clients of the food pantry, they may be given free toys at Christmas. There are of course groceries to prepare holiday meals, gifts, and more. There may also be Toys for Tots, free Adopt a Family programs as well as financial help.

 

 

 

USMC Toys for Tots of Little Rock area and surrounding counties

The free holiday program is available from several non-profits and charity organizations. They provide toys, books, games and more to young boys and girls in partnership with the USMC. Get free clothes, matchbox cars, sporting goods and more for kids from age 0 to 15. This service is for Pulaski, Perry, Garland, Grant, Hot Springs, Jefferson, Lonoke, Prairie and Saline County.. Young children and parents with kids, including single moms, can apply for Christmas toys.

Saint Francis House

The non-profit helps senior citizens and homebound disabled only. Volunteers provide food gift baskets as well as small Christmas presents. The applicant needs to be out of resources and have no family local to Pulaski County.

Central Arkansas CDC
They do their best to collect and give away items at Christmas to they needy. Free clothes, food, deserts, Christmas toys for kids, meals for the working poor or less fortunate and other help is offered too. There are other resources too, and financial help from Pulaski County CDC.

Additional free Thanksgiving or Christmas charities
There are a few other places that help struggling families year round. They are below. They often have free Easter, Thanksgiving and Christmas programs as well, including stocking stuffers, small toys, food baskets and other programs.
