Food pantries in Oswego County

Limited amount of assistance can be provided from food banks and pantries in Oswego County. If a resident of the local town meets the application criteria set by each non-profit, then families may be provide groceries, meals, and more. The sites may offer items such as baby formula, fruits, and food for special diets as well.

The pantries will acquire fresh or canned goods from volunteers as well as partner sites, such as regional food banks. The items will be packed into boxes for clients. When disbursed, the qualified individual may be given a bag or box that has enough food to last for a few days.

This form of aid can go a long way towards ending or delaying hunger in Oswego County. It will provide the resident time to locate, and apply, for long term support as well.
