North Carolina transitional housing programs.

Short term housing assistance in North Carolina includes resources such as homeless shelters and more mid term transitional housing. The resources listed below are offered for families, veterans, single parents, seniors, and the formerly disabled. Participants can receive assistance with meeting their housing needs and also help for regaining self-sufficiency.

Transitional housing really involves providing people a place to stay. However, the most important components really involved helping families in North Carolina regain stability and to also find a more permanent, affordable apartment or home to live in. The non-profits and their case managers offer employment assistance, job training, meals, case management, and more for individuals who use the services.

When it is time to move out and when someone has gained stability, get more information on your options then as well. Work on finding a permanent home. Also get help in applying for financial assistance which may even includes funds for paying for moving costs, security deposits, or your rent.
