Every year almost 400,000 people across New Jersey turn to community clinics to get free or low cost health care every year. The centers will not turn anyone away, and will help the low income and people without health insurance. The community clinics and health care centers will help the low income, the uninsured and underinsured, as well as patients with government insurance, such as Medicare, Medicaid, or limited private insurance.
The exact type of services offered at each clinic will vary. Most of the centers will offer the following, and more. Pediatric services, dental care, mental health, general check ups, pharmacy and prescriptions, lab work, and much more.
Many of the New Jersey community clinics are listed below, as well as a phone number to find additional locations. Families and individuals do have other options and resources available to them as well. Most counties have additional health care centers and medical assistance programs.
