There are several food pantries and distribution centers in Napa County California that support low to moderate income families. Another option for residents are the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) services, such as surplus USDA commodities, which also provide free food or hot meals. Or a non-profit can provide other goods, such as clothing or hygiene supplies.
The food banks will provide groceries, toiletries, and other items at most once per month. What is provided to a qualified, low income family depends on donations as well as what the government has allocated to Napa County. However clients will generally receive perishable food, dairy items, baby formula (if needed), meats, and soup.
