Morris County free holiday assistance programs.

Several charities and non-profits in Morris County provide help at Christmas as well as Thanksgiving. Donations as well as volunteers allow these holiday assistance programs to operate. Low income households can be given free Christmas toys or clothing, served a hot holiday meal, and provide other forms of support. The department of social services also tends to provide gifts and meals to those existing clients.

Individuals in need can apply for holiday help. But applications need to be done early. Once the resources are used up, the programs will not be able to assist anyone else for that season. In addition, donate if possible.

The main programs available in Morris County New Jersey include the Adopt-a-Family Christmas gift program, free turkeys at Thanksgiving, and Wishing Tree. Each non-profit below offers their own services.
