Many of the affordable and free dental clinics that may be near you have in place a sliding fee scale, so patients need to only pay what they can afford to pay towards their bills. The Minnesota dental centers are often part of the Federally Qualified Health Center program. This means anyone can get free care, including children, low income families on Medicaid, the disabled, the elderly on Medicare and others. Whether cavity fillings, free teeth cleanings, crowns, or emergency oral surgery, the dentists and the clinics try to never turn anyone away.
