Find where to get free Christmas and holiday assistance in Boston MA, Middlesex and Suffolk County. Low-income families will get gifts for their kids from the free Toys for Tots program, Adopt a Family, Salvation Army Angel Tree, and food boxes. There are many holiday programs available for Thanksgiving turkey dinners too. Get free Christmas help near you in Middlesex and Suffolk County.

Charities, churches and non-profits help the low-income, seniors, people with no money or parents. They give out gifts or toys for children, vouchers, free gift cards or Xmas trees and more. Catholic Charitable Bureau of the Archdiocese of Boston, Inc.
This charity also operates across Suffolk and nearby counties. Various programs are administered year round. Children and seniors may also enroll into holiday programs, including gifts at Christmas, home delivered meals, free groceries, and more. Salvation Army of Massachusetts
Various resources are available, including the Christmas Castle Programs as well as Adopt a Family. This will provide necessities (clothes, gifts, toys) to eligible individuals and families during the holidays. They also run an Annual Toy Drive, among other services provided. There may be Legos, video games, clothes, hot wheel cars, trucks, dolls and more. There is also Angel Tree as well as Adopt a Family, and immigrant and non-English speakers can apply too.

Toys For Tots of Middlesex and Suffolk County MA
This operates across Massachusetts. The programs known as Toys for Tots provides free holiday gifts/ toys for children. There are separate programs for each county. Kids, teens, and children from age 0 to 17 can apply for games, clothes, Chromebooks, books and other free toys.

Note this service does not give free toys or Christmas gifts to individual families. Applicants must contact a church in their town (or city of Boston), a charity, or social worker. Christmas gifts are gender specific and will be free and can include games, clothes, trucks for boys, dolls, and more.

Community Teamworks

They offer assistance programs in Middlesex County. Free groceries, birthday or Christmas gifts, toileteries, financial help, coats or boots and more. They have various free holiday programs for Boston MA and nearby towns. They partner with Toys for Tots. Get free gift cards, food boxes, games, shoes, winter coats and more. Children, teenagers and the homeless, among others, can get assistance at Christmas.

Council of Social Concern

My Brothers Keeper - They partner with many local churches and charities in both Suffolk as well as Middlesex County. They refer low income families, immigrants, and families in poverty to financial assistance as well as Christmas programs. Regions covered include Lowell, Haverhill, Boston, and other cities. Society of St. Vincent de Paul Conferences - SVDP
There are multiple parishes in the region, ranging from Boston to Waltham, Cambridge, Charlestown, Lowell, Haverhill and other towns or cities. There are free food pantries for groceries or holiday food boxes. Children may be given stocking stuffers, there may be gift certificates, clothing, or even free Christmas Tress. The SVDP parishes are county specific.

Additional free Christmas programs
These agencies may have Toys for Tots applications or Adopt a Family. There may also be meals, groceries, and other goods. The charity distributes gifts and free toys. The program and is provided is funded by donations to children in need during the holiday season. It is a free Adopt a Family program for kids in Lowell and Middlesex County. The Salvation Army also has free Xmas gifts, decorations, games and food baskets from Angel Tree.

United Way of Tri-County
They run the Hope for the Holidays Giving Program. It distributes new toys that are acquired through donations. All items are made available to needy children during the holiday season.
