Memphis and Shelby County free diapers and baby supplies.

It is often costly for new parents, whether they live in Shelby County or some other area. Many families need assistance in paying for diapers, expensive baby formula, cribs, and other items for their newborn. So in an effort to help parents, whether they are low income or not, there are several places for free baby stuff as well as diapers in the greater Memphis area.

Some of the organizations that help are faith based. Others are “standard” non-profits or government run agencies. In each case, anyone seeking supplies for their newborn infant (or growing baby) should be prepared. Bring proof of income, residency, copies of identification, and be ready to apply.

While most of the assistance programs are based in the city of Memphis, others cover all of Shelby County. No matter who need help with diapers or other items, whether a single mom or two parent household, assistance is available.
