The Community Action Partnership of Mid-Nebraska offers residents several programs, which are listed below. A sampling of them is below. Their goal is to provide short term help with paying bills, while also ensuring people have what they need to become self sufficient over the long term.
The Job Placement Services program will help people find jobs, by providing applicants with services such as interview skills, resume writing, finding employment, computer skills, filing for unemployment, and they also have a computer lab available.
Helps families who are in danger of having their utility service disconnected. Many of those who are now seeking help with paying their utilities are doing so for the first time, and most now need help due to job losses, health issues, or some other emergency. Families and individuals who are seeking assistance with past due utility bills have had to have received a disconnect notice. Help will be provided to those who need it based on income with most families and individuals falling under low to moderate income guidelines. On average a household will receive less than $100 in aid.

Will ensure homes are safe, and addresses homeowner emergency repairs. Improvements included in this program include:
The WAP will make it possible for low and moderate income individuals and families to permanently reduce their energy and heating bills. It is a free program. Contractors or crews will install energy efficiency measures in homes occupied by qualifying low-income families free of charge, and the upgrades will lower peoples energy bills by hundreds of dollars per year.
